The Diamond Beach or Breiðamerkursandur is especially beautiful when there is a storm on the coast, meters high waves, huge icebergs, falling tripods, beautiful. Of course a toppling tripod is not really nice, but if you make a picture like this afterwards it will ease the pain a little.
