About ‘Storm at Domburg beach’ by Sander Poppe

On a wintry day at Domburg beach, located on the rugged Walcheren coast, an extraordinary natural scene played out. As a light storm raged across the Dutch coast, I sought shelter behind two small dunes. From this unique spot, right between the dunes, a beautiful view of the breakwater braving the waves of the North Sea bravely presented itself.

The sky was impressive and set the scene for the moment: dark rain clouds dominated the scene over the sea, while the rain created a mysterious atmosphere. But the highlight of the day was undoubtedly the brilliant rainbow that suddenly appeared. The rainbow stood out powerfully against the threatening sky and added a magical touch to the wintry coastal landscape.

For lovers of nature photography and walkers, Domburg beach is a destination not to be missed in winter. The combination of the natural elements - the dunes, the undulating North Sea and the play of light and rain - make every visit unique. Discover peace, space and the power of nature on the Zeeland coast during a winter storm on Walcheren. Here you will experience the Dutch coast at its most beautiful.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
