Sometimes I like to photograph flowers when they are withering. The tenderness of the stalk, the fragile leaves, it evokes a melancholy atmosphere.
This still life of a wilted lapwing flower in a black vase I photographed on broken tights.
The ladders in the tights have 2 slightly larger holes because in the little vase there are also 2 lapwing flowers hanging from the stalk.
