About "Steam locomotive in action"

About the artwork

In the haze of a November morning, "De Kikker", built in 1901 at the Machinefabriek Breda, awakens.

The hissing of steam, the knocking of pistons... A heartbeat from a time when technology was still tangible.

The iron wheels grip the track with the same force as a century ago, while around him, autumn gently covers the world in gold and copper.

Along the edge of the forest in Boekelo & Haaksbergen in the Netherlands The locomotive glides through the silent landscape like a living monument.

The smell of coal mixes with damp leaves, and above the cabin, smoke curls up like a prayer.

The Frog, once a workhorse of steel, has now become a storyteller.... A reminder of progress, patience and the rhythm of craftsmanship.

If you listen carefully, you will hear in its breath the story of human hands, of fire that animated steel, and of movement that never really stood still.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
