Starling birds murmuration in the sky with clouds during a calm sunset at the end of the day. Huge groups of starlings (Sturnidae) in the sky that move in shape-shifting clouds before the night.The synchronized movements of starling murmurations create mesmerizing patterns in the sky, with the birds swooping, swirling, and diving in unison. The exact reasons behind this behavior are not fully understood, but scientists believe that murmurations serve various purposes, including protection from predators, communication, and coordination of flock movements.These murmurations often occur during the birds' evening roosting time, as they gather together before settling down for the night.
