This is a photo of the amazing staircase in the Sursock Palace which is located on Rue Sursock in Beirut, Lebanon. The palace was completed in 1860 and was owned by Lady Cochrane Sursock. Lady Cochrane Sursock was committed to the preservation of cultural heritage in Lebanon. During the explosion in the port of Beirut in August 2020, the palace was badly damaged.
