Stadium De Kuip struck by lightning in Rotterdam Feijenoord

This photo of stadium De Kuip in Rotterdam Feijenoord was taken during the blue hour on an evening in July 2015. De Kuip is the home ground of the Rotterdam football club from the Feijenoord district.

During this evening, there were threatening skies in Rotterdam and it rained regularly. Nevertheless, I was keen to continue taking photos with long shutter speeds. While taking the photo, there was a big lightning strike and after taking the photo, I was very happy that the lightning could be seen in the photo. A special experience that impressed me a lot.
