Ransdaal or literally Ravensdal is a beautiful village that is part of the municipality of Voerendaal.
Klimmen and Ransdaal share the most beautiful railway station in the Netherlands. Hidden in the South Limburg hills, Ransdaal's Sint-Theresia church rises high above the houses and farms. The whole place looks like a French village from the time and in the style of Vincent van Gogh when the painter lived in Auvers sur Oise. Colourful, sparkling and playfully painted in an almost post-impressionist manner.
