Photographed a spotted reed orchid straight from above, so it looks a little different. The spotted reed orchid is an orchid, and a variant of the common reed orchid. The spots consist of large, reddish-brown, ring-shaped spots with a dark green islet. Furthermore, this variant is larger than the reed orchid. The spotted reed orchid is mainly found near moist wetlands. The plant is common in the Netherlands, but rare in Belgium. The flowering period is from the beginning of May until the end of July.
