It is remarkable how you can be surprised if you look up more often. That happened on the day when, in moderate sunshine, I suddenly looked up and this view caught my eye.

A square 'canner' whose contents reflected a tighter blue sky with radiant clouds than the actual sky itself!

As soon as I could hold pencil and paper, I was hooked. At a young age, I observed my surroundings and liked to capture reality as seen through my own eyes. This led to art school where I graduated with knowledge in several disciplines.
Since 2011, I experience my camera as my best friend. With it, I go exploring. Using a camera as a visual aid is always a blissful moment for me. The images I partly create in my head give rise to discovering what my camera is capable…
