Furious waves in Ciaran Storm 2023, Tuscany.
On November 3, 2023, one of the most violent wind storms of the last 100 years broke out on the coasts of Tuscany.
Winds that reached 120 km/h and caused damage to all the coasts of the Ligurian Sea and the Upper Tyrrhenian Sea.
I know that such powerful meteorological events are not comparable to those of the Oceans, but it was a very violent and rare phenomenon for the Mediterranean Sea.

It wasn't easy to reach the beach. Fallen trees blocked many roads, so I preferred to reach the sea from a treeless country road with my mountain bike.
Once I reached the beach, I had severe difficulty staying upright. Waves, foam, and sand invaded the seafront road.
I had to shoot freehand because the tripod wouldn't stand upright, and I had to clean the lens every 10 seconds. I am 50 years old, and I don't remember similar violence.
