About ‘Sotoori Hime’ by Marja van den Hurk
Eishi Hosoda (1756-1829) was a Japanese ukiyo-e artist.
He created an illustration with a portrait of Sotoori Hime.
I made this version of the portrait in 2023. It is partly in colour (lilac, purple, pink), partly in black and white, like a colour plate not yet finished.
