The song thrush is a common breeding bird in gardens, parks and forests. A well-known trait of the song thrush is shattering snail shells on stones and tiles, as well as branches, so that they can reach meat. The song thrush sings exuberantly, with varied stanzas but with a characteristic repetition of usually the same sound three times.
