About "Snowy trees in Lapland"

About the artwork

Beautifully snow-covered trees in Swedish Lapland. Lapland or Samenland is the cultural region traditionally inhabited by the Sami (also known as Lapps). While the Sami have several languages of their own (the Sami languages), they do not have their own state. In fact, Lapland stretches across the northernmost part of Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia. Lapland is so close to the polar regions that its winters are long and icy cold. In the winter months, the sun does not rise there (polar night) and in the summer months, the sun does not set (midnight sun). Over centuries, however, the Sami have learned to adapt to these harsh conditions. They traditionally live off their reindeer herds, which eat reindeer moss and other lichens. The area has also been called Europe's last wilderness.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
