Manang is a town in the Manang District of Nepal.
It is located at an elevation of 3,518 metres and forms part of the world famous Annapurna Circuit Trek.
In the north-west lies, Thorong La pass at an altitude of 5,416 meters, which leads to the Muktinath and the valley of Gandaki river. Trekkers use Manang for acclimatization before moving on to higher altitude in the Annapurna region.
