A medley of colorful organic tomatoes grown in our own garden. From the traditional red to yellow and orange tomatoes. They vary from standard to cherry-size tomatoes. I thinly sliced the tomatoes and randomly layers and lid them from below to allow the tomato slices to appear transparent.
Allowing the light to glow through the tomato slices and shine from above a bird's eye view. The result is a fresh, clean, and enticing food photograph of fresh home grown tomatoes.
Gardening has been a family tradition since I was a child and tomatoes have always been one of the staples to plant. The varieties we grow are a new addition as I merge my love for gardening with my love for photography. This food photograph consist of red cherry tomatoes, yellow pear tomatoes, chocolate stripe, yellow and the traditional red tomatoes. My practical grandmother would consider this a bit extravagant but the artist self doing a happy dance that I could not control my splurging when I selected the seeds.
