Skyscraper Brutalism in black and white.
The skyscraper the overcast sky gave me the dark and gloomy atmosphere. So photographing the skyscraper in black and white was a logical step.
Looking up against this structure reminded me of the Eastern European brutalism movement in architecture.
I liked the rawness with added contrast.
The just off-centre angle and the space on one side of the skyscraper gives it a little special off-centre look.
Sombre hard and imposing this skyscraper is certainly. But it also gives a look to keep looking.
Zaankanteropavadventure with the camera armed across the country. Rippling edges of cities and industrial estates, as well as villages and coastlines.
Photography digital and analogue from the camera for on the wall, of the living room waiting room, study or office. Or as wallpaper wall filling!
Zaankanteropavontuur.
Always on adventure and looking for industrial landscapes and details. And I do a lot of street photography. Walking through the streets, old villages and city centers.
I photograph mainly with an analogue Yashica 635 and a Ricoh AF 5.
