About "Skyline of Calgary at thunder snow (Alberta, Canada)"

About the artwork

Please note: this work has a grainy finish. It is very nice, provided you like that.

By the way, this image was made in difficult weather and light conditions: just after thunder snow. On the North American prairie, this meteorological phenomenon occurs at most a few times a year. This is a combination of snow and thunderstorms, which makes for dramatic skies.

If you look closely, you can see the colors of the sky reflected in the reflective skyscrapers of the prairie metropolis. To create depth in the image, I framed the towers between electricity and lampposts.

This special weather condition was visible for two hours: one moment it was snowing, the next it was clearing, only to start thundering again a moment later. Between the showers I was able to take this photo.

As for Calgary's skyline, this is an April 2022 snapshot. Downtown Calgary is constantly changing, so on the left you can see the new skyscraper The Bow (236m high).

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
