We write Sunday 10 September 2017, a cloudy Sunday morning. It is also Open Monumentendag, also in the Wine Press, where recently ancient icehouses have been discovered.
You recognize among others (from left to right)
the Neo-Renaissance University Library with Tower (an imitation of the Giralda of Seville, and one of Europe's biggest carillons),
The Justice Palace (Courthouse) in eclectic style with mainly elements of the French Renaissance and Baroque,
The Collegiate Church of St. Peter, a Roman Catholic Church in Leuven, built in the style of Brabant High Gothic.
and the city hall, one of the most famous Gothic city houses in the world.
