In the first light of day, the landscape breathes a gentle calm. The morning fog envelops the trees and water in a golden glow, as if the world is waiting a while before it fully awakens. The canal meanders slowly through the field, its banks bordered by tall reeds that move gently in the still air. Their reflection in the water blends with the shadows of bare branches, making boundary and reflection almost coincide.
The trees, leafless and sharp in shape, seem to watch over this serene place. Their silhouettes slowly dissolve in the haze, revealing the depth of the landscape only in layers. The light is diffuse and soft, almost tangible, as if it warms the cold air and lays a golden veil over everything it touches.
This moment is an ode to stillness, to the beauty that emerges when light, mist and water meet. A landscape that knows no hurry, that exists only in this fleeting hour when the day gently begins.

Maybe a world you recognise, maybe one you only discover as soon as you look at it.
