From Central Station the Korte Prinsengracht is the first part of the Prinsengracht in Amsterdam. You can see the beautiful canal houses with different facades on the right side, as shown by the even numbering on the buildings. On display are nos. 2 to 14. The buildings differ in antiquity. On the gable stone of no. 14 it says that the building dates from 1656. Looking at the building at no. 10 with the red painted shutters you can see that it dates from 1800.
