About "Shake it"

About the artwork

This work combines realistic drawing and abstract elements. It shows a person with a lowered head, whose face is partially covered by hair falling over the face. The skin and hair are richly detailed and drawn in monochrome with charcoal. In contrast, a vertical stripe in bright yellow adds an abstract, modern accent. This area contains geometric line patterns that look like stylised stars or zigzag patterns. The background is subtly textured and in shades of grey, making the yellow colour and the figure stand out strongly.

The combination of realistic depiction with abstract elements gives the work depth and a high-contrast aesthetic.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
