A photo of the beautiful Anse Source d'Argent beach on the island of La Digue in the Indian Ocean.
With my camera in hand, I walked a few hundred metres in the shallow, warm water in a south-easterly direction along the coast of granite rocks. Behind every rock I could always discover new breathtaking motifs.
Anse Source d'Argent is a fascinating dream beach on the island of La Digue in the Seychelles. Shallow, turquoise-blue water, a white sandy beach and impressive granite rocks make it one of the most beautiful beaches in the Seychelles and the whole world.
The Seychelles are an idyllic island nation in the western Indian Ocean. They comprise around 115 islands, only a few of which are inhabited. Only 8 islands are permanently inhabited. The best-known islands are the main island of Mahé, Praslin, La Digue and Silhouette. These belong to the "Inner Islands" and are made of granite. Numerous small coral islands and atolls make up the "Outer Islands". The capital Victoria is located on Mahé.
