About ‘Seville - Maria de la Sede Cathedral’ by Dries van Assen

Called an 'open air museum' by many, Seville is full of historic monuments, churches, parks and palm gardens, remnants of many different cultures.

One of the city's most famous buildings is the Cathedral Maria de la Sede, the largest church building in Europe after St Peter's in Rome and St Paul's Cathedral in London, and the largest Gothic cathedral in the world. The symbol of the city, the "Giralda", is part of it. This 96 meter high bell tower was originally a Moorish minaret, once the highest in the world. Legend has it that no taller buildings are allowed to be built in Seville. In 2011 there was controversy about building plans in La Cartuja, where the first building to rise higher than La Giralda will be. Another flagship of Seville is the 14th-century Alcázar Palace, an important example of Mudejar style. Together with the Archivo General de Indias, the Cathedral of Seville and the Alcázar have been on UNESCO's World Heritage List since 1987.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
