Serene natural abstraction: Drops carried by the fluff by Marjolijn van den Berg

This photo: "Serene natural abstraction: Drops carried by the fluff" is a macro photo of the fine fluff of a Tragopogon (in the Netherlands, this plant is also often called "Morgenster") carrying very small water droplets. If you zoom in on the droplets of the front fluff, you can see that this is also where the focus is. The droplets almost seem to be worn like jewellery by the fluff, very elegant and decorative.
The colour palette is quite calm: warm beige tones and subtle champagne hues. These colours give the image a calm rural and elegant atmosphere. As a result, this work fits into various interior styles.
When taking this picture, I particularly wanted to draw attention to the front fluff with the small water droplets. These droplets were almost imperceptible to the naked eye. By choosing a shallow depth of field, this part is sharp and the further you look forward or back, the more blurring occurs. A natural abstraction. This gives a sense of depth and at the same time calmness to the photograph.
This photograph shows a small piece of nature, a simple quiet beauty that we often overlook.
This work could, for example, hang beautifully as wall decoration in the bedroom, dining room, hallway or simply above the sofa! Also beautiful in business locations such as on the wall in a meeting room, office waiting room or practice room!
