About ‘Scottish Highland cow in the woods’ by Rêve

The weather was lovely, although opinions were divided on that, as there was a thick layer of snow on the ground. Time to set off, into the woods. Unfortunately, I hadn’t been able to go earlier and the snow on the tree branches had already melted, but there was still plenty on the ground; every now and then I sank in up to my knees, and it was lovely to wander around like that.
After about five kilometres, I spotted them: the Scottish Highland cattle. I’d never seen them before, let alone from such close quarters and completely in the wild. No fence around them, just as it should be. I was completely blown away; what magnificent animals they are. So big, clumsy and colossal, yet at the same time you just want to cuddle them because their coats look so soft. I refrained from doing the latter, of course.
I walked over ten kilometres that day, with trousers soaked through by the snow, freezing cold hands and, in the end, unable to get away in my car either, but it was a lovely day and I thoroughly enjoyed it. This is one of the beautiful photo's I took back then. An atmospheric image, even though you can almost feel the cold. Perfect for the living room, hobby room or perhaps even on the wall in the bedroom.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
