About ‘Schoorl dunes | Travel photography’ by Inge de Lange

The Schoorl Dunes, located on the beautiful Dutch coast, offer a breathtaking spectacle at sunset. As evening slowly sets in, the sky fills with warm hues of orange and pink, slowly fading to deep purple and dark blue.

The rolling landscape of the dunes seems to transform under the last rays of daylight. The high peaks, covered in soft sand, seem to glisten in the warm evening light. The dunes stretch endlessly, like a natural work of art hugging the horizon.

At this magical time of day, the silence is palpable. The sounds of the wind whispering through the marram grass and the birds slowly returning home create a serene ambience. As the sun slowly sets behind the sea, time seems to stand still for a moment. It is as if nature is holding its breath as it enchants us with its beauty.

In the Schoorl dunes at sunset, you experience a sense of peace and harmony with nature. It is a moment to reflect, enjoy the beauty of the surroundings and realise how small we actually are compared to the bigger picture.
