About "Scene from a Bollywood film"

About the artwork

Scene from a Bollywood film is shot at a railway station in India. While in the background the train is ready for departure, in the foreground you can see some people washing their hands and filling bottles. A man in a white blouse and blue trousers walks into the scene towards the sink. On the ground is a brown burlap sack, where d einhoud has partly landed next to it on the ground.

The typical chaos of India is reflected in this picture. The colours and light in the picture also breathe the atmosphere of this beautiful country. This picture will quickly make you think back to India, should you ever have been there.

The picture was taken from a train on the track ahead, while waiting to depart. It is one of the stations on the line from Agra to Gorakpur.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
