About the artwork

A frontal watercolor portrait where a veiled woman meets the viewer with clear steady eyes. Blossoms and butterflies gather close to the veil edge while the open background keeps the features crisp and the first read strong on the wall. Color sits around the cheek and temple without crowding the silhouette.

I developed the piece from gesture sketches and value studies. Broad wet on wet passages set the main masses, then glazing and dry brush refined eyelids, lips, petal edges, leaf veins and wing details. Transparent washes allow subtle paper grain to show through and small speckles add texture without noise.

The mood is poised and contemporary. Printed large, the portrait holds at a distance and rewards close viewing with precise line work and soft transitions, pairing easily with neutral textiles and nature inspired decor.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
