About ‘San Francisco - Victorian style houses’ by Thomas Bugdoll
The most typical building in San Francisco is probably a Victorian house. About 16,000 of them survived the great earthquake of 1906 to some extent. Others that were on the verge of decay have been lovingly restored and are now as much a part of San Francisco as the Golden Gate Bridge and the cable cars.
