About the artwork

Sculptures by Josep Maria Subirachs on the Passion facade of Gaudi's Sagrada Familia Basilica in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.
The sculptures on this facade, as well as the carving style, were both intriguing and fascinating to me.
Their sharp geometric shapes cast harsh shadows, and their lack of ornamentation (in stark contrast to the nativity facade) lets the viewer to focus more on the shapes and textures.
Antoni Gaudi designed this facade in 1911, with a final draft completed in 1917 that served as a guide for future generations.
Josep Maria Subirachs was entrusted with the sculptural embellishment of the Passion front in 1986, and between 1987 and 2009, he worked on bringing this side of the temple to life.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
