Pura Luhur Batukau is a sacred Hindu temple located on the slopes of Mount Batukaru, in a lush and peaceful region of Bali. Dedicated to the protective spirits of the mountain, this temple is distinguished by its traditional architecture and its superimposed straw roofs, known as "meru". Surrounded by dense vegetation, rice paddies and natural springs, the site offers a mystical and soothing atmosphere. Rarely visited by tourists, this spiritual place invites meditation and a deep reconnection with nature. It is also a living example of the symbiosis between Balinese religion and its natural environment.
