Rustic and rural painting of a Giant hogweed (Screen Flowers) by Studio Pieternel

Exclusive design for Werk aan de Muur / Art Heroes

This artwork is a unique adaptation of original photographic work of a four umbellifer at the edge of a ditch (Giant hogweed).

Mixed Media Art: 4 Screen Flowers on a warm shade (grunge) background with gold accents.

It evokes an atmosphere of rustic elegance and botanical grandeur.

The Atmosphere: The artwork exudes a serene yet powerful atmosphere. The large, lacy white flower displays stand out prominently against a soft, watercolour-like background in muted tones of beige, olive green and ochre.

Subtle gold foil accents add a touch of luxury and mystique, as if the plant were bathed in golden morning mist. The focus on the deeply incised, dark green leaves with their rich texture creates a sense of depth and earthiness.

Interior style Applications: Combining botanical precision and abstract, soft colours, this work is extremely versatile.

Country/Rustic Style: The botanical subject matter and earthy colour palette perfectly complement the natural materials and comfort of country décor.

Wabi-Sabi/Minimalist: The subdued, natural tones and focus on a single, organic element suit simplicity and an appreciation of imperfection.

Bohemian/Eclectic: The rich texture, gold accents and vintage feel of the edit can serve as a calming anchor between more colourful elements.

Classic/Timeless: The elegant, almost medicinal look of the plant, combined with the luxurious shimmer of the gold, gives it a timeless, sophisticated look.
