The Royal Concertgebouw, opened on 11 April 1888, is located on the Van Baerlestraat opposite the Museumplein in Amsterdam. It is the home of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra.
During the 2013 celebration of its 125th anniversary, the Concertgebouw received the designation Royal. Since then, the official name is Royal Concertgebouw.
