The striking Royal Concert building in Amsterdam was opened on 11 April 1888. The Concertgebouw has four concert halls: the Grote Zaal, the Kleine Zaal, the Koorzaal and the Spiegelzaal. It is the home base of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra.
