In our garden there is an amazing dark pink rose, Rosarium Uetersen. If you don't prune off the spent roses, rose hips appear, but they usually fall off here anyway. Sometimes one does remain ( of the dozens of flowers this rose produces each year), like this one this year. So beautiful in the early light of 20 October 2024, with the soft autumn hues in the background.
