A single rock standing in front and braving the waves, seemingly tirelessly. The current, the force, the salt, it all eats away at the rock minuscule slowly. Not perceptible to the eye, but inevitably real. The rock, so immovable, will eventually succumb to fatigue. And the sea, the sea will long after the existence of this rock still be flowing with full force and beating wildly around itself.
During my trip in Indonesia, I was inspired by other photographers who made beautiful works from above, especially of the sea, waves, the beautiful white and the mysterious blue.
This attracted me so much that I shifted my full focus here.
I decided to make a three-part series of all the photos I took of this beautiful piece of Ululate and offer them on work on the wall.
Rock in the surf is the 3rd part of this series.

While shooting these photos, I used exposure bracketing. This involves shooting 5 photos in quick succession, with different exposures. This keeps the details in both the black and the high light.
For the processing, I chose a heavier contrast. Deep black, slightly milder white and bright blue.
This edit style is carried through in all 3 works.
