In the heart of wintry Lapland, a natural spectacle unfolds that is hard to beat in its silent power. The Storforsen, one of the largest unregulated rapids in Europe, presents itself here in all its frosty splendour. While the icy water thunders unstoppably through the snow-covered rocky course, fine wafts of mist dance in the golden glow of the low sun. The air seems to shimmer - not with heat, but with cold and light.

This image captures a moment of pure wilderness, in which the force of the water combines with the softness of the winter light. The layers of ice on the shore form bizarrely curved sculptures, while the fir trees behind them are silent under a heavy burden of snow. It is a place where nature has its own breathing rhythm - sometimes rushing, sometimes almost meditatively silent.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
