Rising Dawn Fragment by Manuela Dekkers

Rising Dawn Fragment captures the moment when light first appears - still fragile, still incomplete, but unmistakably present. This work does not depict a sunrise as we know it, but a fragment of it: a first crack in the stillness of the night, in which form and shine cautiously emerge.

Transparent, almost textile-like layers move like mist in the making. Soft pink and ivory tones merge with cooler shadows, while fine gold accents crisscross the image like veins of awakening light. The composition balances between solidity and ephemerality: sharply delineated planes of light seem to detach themselves from an environment that has yet to take full shape.

This work belongs to Mythos of Spring, a fine-art series that approaches spring as a transition - not as bloom, but as promise. Instead of exuberance, this collection opts for stillness, nuance and breathing space. Rising Dawn Fragment embodies that starting point: the moment when everything is still possible.

Designed as contemplative wall art, this work invites slowing down. It asks not for interpretation, but for presence. An image that leaves room for silence, light and inner shift - enriching an interior without dominating it.
