Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

Rembrandt van Rijn, Saul and David, c. 1651 - 1654 and c. 1655 - 1658 For a long time, Saul and David was considered one of the most famous Rembrandts and a highlight of the Mauritshuis collection. Until 1969, when attribution was rejected and the painting lost much of its lustre. After a long period of research and restoration, the painting is now the centrepiece of the exhibition Rembrandt
