Refugees between borders and sunset - The silent movement of hope on the run into an uncertain future by AidasignArt

In this work in the style of a painting, an impressive scene of human movement and longing unfolds. A crowd of people, shown from behind, is on the run - on the way to an uncertain but hopeful future. The figures, recognisable by their different styles of clothing and headgear, appear to come from the Arab world. Some wear headscarves, others leave their hair loose in the wind. On their backs are rucksacks filled with the bare necessities - silent witnesses to a life abruptly abandoned, condensed into a few possessions.

The path leads them between border installations, symbols of human separation and political constructions. Nevertheless, the composition radiates a quiet determination: The crowd does not move desperately, but purposefully - carried by an invisible will that finds its visual counterpart in the warm colours of the sunset.

The light on the horizon opens up room for interpretation - it can be read as a promise of peace, as a symbol of a new beginning or as an illusion of distant freedom. The juxtaposition of limitation and expanse, narrowness and light, creates a field of tension that makes the ambivalence of human existence and migration tangible. This picture does not tell a single story - it is rather a collective portrait of hope, loss and the eternal movement of man towards a place he wants to call "home".
