About ‘Reflection of a coloured crane in Amsterdam harbour’ by Danielle Roeleveld
Reflection of a red-yellow hoist in the port of Amsterdam. The water is shallow: in the foreground you can even see the bottom. In the centre of the photo, a wooden beam and some reeds are floating.
I really like the industrial atmosphere of this photo; combined with the bright colours of the hoist, this image looks very cheerful.

I photograph my perceptions from inner silence, without judgment, thoughts or comparisons, so straight from my heart. With my camera I capture qualities of everyday beauty. That means that I don't enhance my images, to me reality is sparkling enough as I perceived it. Other terms of this kind of photography is: contemplative, Zen, Miksang or mindfulness photography. What usually catches my eye are reflections, colour, pattern and texture.
