Waving reeds.
Waving reeds. We often pass it by. It is an almost invisible part of our landscape. Waving reeds have been of great importance to us for centuries. It protects the fragile bank. It can be seen as an invisible hand protecting the hinterland from the brute force of water.
The reeds imperceptibly do what we expect of our environment. A caring hand that guards us from any evil that may threaten us.
The reeds give us peace of mind.
The green colour gives tranquillity.
We dare to trust the water, lined with reeds.
I have been photographing since 1975. I don't feel like an artist, but I do feel like a practical photographer where I capture the beauty I feel. I would like to share that feeling, that beauty with others.
