Red poppies in golden sunlight

by Henk Egbertzen

A field full of wild flowers, bathed in the last golden light of the day. The sun is just sinking below the horizon, but it colours the sky and the grass in a warm glow. Amidst all that yellow and green, the bright red poppies immediately stand out.

-
The poppies are the stars of the scene. Their delicate, almost translucent petals contrast beautifully with the rugged, wild vegetation surrounding them. You can see them scattered across the foreground and the centre, like tiny fiery dots.

- The sky is spectacular. From deep blue and purple at the top, through orange and yellow, to the bright sun disappearing behind the hills. The clouds catch the light and lend the whole scene a dramatic, almost painterly atmosphere.

- The style is purely photographic. No filters, no tricks. What you see is what the camera saw, at the right moment, in the right place. The magic lies in the natural light and the wild, untamed beauty of nature.

- This is not a neatly arranged bouquet, but a vibrant, wild field. It evokes the feeling of a warm summer’s evening, of walking through nature and pausing for a moment to take in the beauty around you. - This piece looks great in a living room, hall or kitchen. For those who love nature. For those who want to add a warm, cheerful touch to their interior.
