Red Umbrella Behind Glass Blocks presents a vivid red umbrella distorted through a grid of transparent glass blocks. The canopy appears across the upper and middle panes while its slender stem and curved handle continue downward, fractured by watery reflections. The composition is built around coral red, pale aqua, glassy white, and a deep teal surround, creating a surreal, luminous, and quietly cinematic mood. I developed the image so that one dominant shape leads the eye while smaller marks, curves, or accessories provide a measured rhythm around it. The digital treatment uses refraction, highlights, and repeating square modules to transform an everyday object into an abstract study of visibility and interruption. From a distance, the silhouette and principal colour relationships remain clear; seen closely, subtle variations in edge, texture, and surface give the design a more tactile character. The generous areas of uncluttered background allow the central form to breathe and make the artwork easy to combine with other pieces. It is designed to bring a confident focal point to a bathroom, hallway, modern kitchen, creative office, or contemporary living room. The work pairs naturally with neutral furniture, clean contemporary lines, and accessories that repeat one or two colours from the image. Although the arrangement feels carefully balanced, small asymmetries keep it lively rather than mechanical. The overall intention is to create wall art that feels immediate at first glance and continues to reveal movement, structure, and personality over time.
I create minimalist posters and modern illustrations. I love transforming ideas into art that says something—about you, your space, and the vibe you're looking for.
