About "Red Lighthouse"

About the artwork

Inspired by the iconic work of Jean Guichard, who became world-famous with his photo of the La Jument lighthouse during a storm, I created my own interpretation in which the colour red plays a leading role. This fine-art work is composed entirely of a 3D render (no AI), combined with photographic elements and sophisticated edits in Photoshop. The result is a unique image composition in which realism and artistic freedom merge.

This work of art is all about contrast. The play between sunlight and storm clouds, the power of nature versus the fragility of a young model, and an elegant fashion dress worn precisely not in a traditional fashion pose. Even the weathered lighthouse itself contributes to this tension: robust and unwavering, but at the same time surrounded by raging waves that constantly batter her. This contrast is also carried through in lighting and toning, so that warm and cool tones reinforce each other.

With its many details and layered processing, this work invites you to look again and again and discover something new each time. A powerful eye-catcher that is not only an ode to Guichard's photography, but also a contemporary translation full of symbolism, drama and visual impact.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
