About "Red Fox in the AWD"

About the artwork

The Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen (AWD) (3400 ha) is one of the most beautiful nature areas in The Netherlands.
The habitat of the the widest dunes of Holland - with lakes, flows, forests, meadows, shrubs and undergrowth - consists a.o. of fallow deers, roe deers, foxes, horses, cows and cormorants. Except the birds, I have seen them all and took a lot of captures (for the first time in my live, I got the message FULL :p).

In the Amsterdamse Waterduinen are a few fox families. These foxes are everything but wildlife. The moment they spot human beings, they don't run away, but will come to see if there is something to eat for them. Lots of people feeds them, which makes their behaviour completely unnatural.

They are easier to capture here than in a zoo :(.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
