I took this photo of a rapeseed flower using a 105mm macro lens combined with a +3 close-up lens. The flower is one of the last to bloom on this rapeseed plant. Because I was able to focus so closely, you can clearly see the rapeseed’s stamens. The yellow colour is characteristic of rapeseed; normally, it’s the yellow colour that makes…

Welcome to my shop. My name is Gerard de Zwaan and I was born in 1983 in the Veluwe town of Harderwijk where I grew up and still live. I started photography in 2013. My first camera was a Nikon D3200 which I still own and is now as a spare camera, currently I use a Nikon D7200.
