About ‘Ranakpur: Ranakpur Jain tempel’ by Maarten Verhees

Ranakpur Jain-tempel is een gerenommeerde Jain-tempel in Ranakpur en is gewijd aan Tirthankara Rishabhanatha. Dharna Shah, een plaatselijke Jain-zakenman, begon in de 15e eeuw met de bouw van de tempel volgens een goddelijke visie. De tempel eert Adinath, de eerste Tirthankar van de huidige halve cyclus (avasarpiṇī) volgens Jain cosmology. De stad Ranakpur en de tempel zijn genoemd naar de provinciale heerser-monarch Rana Kumbha die de bouw van de tempel ondersteunde. De Ranakpur-tempel is een van de grootste en belangrijkste tempels van de Jain-cultuur. De tempel is gelegen in een dorp van Ranakpur nabij Sadri-stad in het Pali-district van Rajasthan. De campus omvat verschillende tempels, zoals de Chaumukha-tempel, de Surya-tempel, de Parsavanth-tempel en de Amba-tempel.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
