About the artwork

Ramsau bei Berchtesgaden is a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Berchtesgadener Land. The municipal administration is based in what is informally referred to as the "village of Ramsau"[3] and is a built-up "village centre".[4] The Ramsau parish church of St. Sebastian and the Hintersee lake are world-famous motifs in landscape painting. Ramsau is a climatic health resort and the first mountaineering village in Germany. The Berchtesgaden National Park covers over 82 per cent of the municipality. The municipality is part of the high alpine region of Berchtesgadener Land in the south of the district of Berchtesgadener Land. Together with the neighbouring municipalities of Berchtesgaden, Bischofswiesen, Marktschellenberg and Schönau am Königssee, Ramsau bei Berchtesgaden lies within the geomorphological unit of the Berchtesgaden valley basin[5] and is almost completely surrounded by the Berchtesgaden Alps, whose mountain ranges in turn extend to the east, south and south-west into the Austrian state of Salzburg. Within the Berchtesgaden valley basin, Ramsau forms another self-contained area surrounded by the Watzmann, Hochkalter, Reiter Alm and Lattengebirge mountain ranges of the Berchtesgaden Alps.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
